We all went down to the town centre last night to watch the switching on of the Christmas lights, and also to see a (fleeting) visit from Santa Claus. Sandy got a light sabre, which he loves, and Olivia seemed quite mesmerised by the lights once they were swiched on.

Most of these are of Olivia, who looks more grown up by the week. She really can be a cheeky looking wee girl, but she does, like Sandy, have gorgeous brown eyes. Of course, these come from Anna, as mine are blue.

We all went to the Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh on 14th October. Nothing remarkable about that, but at the end of a lovely wander round in the sunshine, the camera was dropped accidentally and unfortunately never worked again! So, we had to buy a new one...

Olivia was getting much stronger on her feet by the end of September, running to the camera whenever she got the opportunity.

September was a lovely month of sunshine and continued high temperatures. Sandy was out in the garden on a daily basis; here he was blowing bubbles.

Sandy finally got his new bike in mid August, having definitely out-grown his previous one. There was no doubt he was delighted with the new model!
Olivia's birthday! (20th August)
Olivia's 1st birthday was a milestone for us all. Just a few days afterwards, she started to walk properly.
